Terms of Service, in preparation, effective on publication
This page is a placeholder, and it says so rather than reading as an agreement. Go Fred LLC’s Terms of Service are being prepared with counsel. They are not in force, they bind nobody, and nothing on this page is an offer or an agreement of any kind. The terms take effect on the day they are published here, and this placeholder is replaced by them in full when they arrive.
Until then, the document that governs an engagement is the written client service agreement signed by Go Fred LLC and the client. Where this page and that agreement could be read as saying different things, the signed agreement is the only one that applies, because this page is not a contract.
What the published terms will cover
Recorded here so that a reader can see what is coming, not as a summary of anything now in force:
- The service: what FRED does for a brand, and what a person rather than software decides.
- Amazon account access: the authorization a seller grants, what it permits, and how it is revoked.
- Approvals: that changes to a seller’s Amazon account happen only after a person reviews and approves them.
- Data, retention and deletion, on the same terms already published in the Privacy Policy.
- Fees, term, termination and disconnection.
- Warranties, disclaimers and the limitation of liability.
The published terms will not contradict the Privacy Policy. Where the two documents describe the same thing — what data is accessed, how long it is kept, and what happens to it when a seller disconnects — the Privacy Policy is already public and is the statement the terms are drafted against.
What is already in force and public
The Privacy Policy is published, current, and applies today, including its Amazon Selling Partner API data section: what is accessed, what is deliberately not accessed, how it is protected, how long it is kept, and how a seller revokes access and requests deletion.
